Der Film \u00abBy the sea\u00bb mit Angelina Jolie Pitt und Brad Pitt wurde 2015 in der Bucht Mgarr ix-Xini auf Gozo gedreht. \u00abUns stand diese wundersch\u00f6ne Bucht zur Verf\u00fcgung\u00bb, erinnert sich Brad Pitt, \u00abdie laut Drehbuch eine Bucht bei Marseille in Frankreich sein soll.\u00bb Neun Wochen dauerten die Dreharbeiten. Neun Wochen auf der wundersch\u00f6nen Insel Gozo &#8211; ich w\u00e4re gscheiter Schauspieler geworden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aber: Nichts an diesem Foto ist wahr, nichts ist in Wirklichkeit so in dieser Bucht. Nur der Blick auf das schmale St\u00fcck Meer zwischen den Klippen links und rechts ist tats\u00e4chlich und der Brad ist auch echt. Der Rest ist Staffage f\u00fcr den Film: der Raum, die Terrasse, das Gel\u00e4nder, die B\u00e4ume und Stauden sowie das ganze Geb\u00e4ude im Hintergrund (das im Film ein Hotel darstellt) sind nur Fassade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Bucht heisst \u00abMgarr ix-Xini\u00bb und ist, seit ich sie im letzten Jahr entdeckt habe, mein zweiter Lieblingsplatz auf Gozo. Was mein absoluter Lieblingsplatz ist und wie es in der Bucht ix-Xini wirklich aussieht, erz\u00e4hle ich Euch in den kommenden Tagen. Ich fliege morgen 11h25 ab ZRH nach Malta und fahre dann r\u00fcber nach Gozo.
